Job Description
We are offering a $1,500 sign-on bonus for this role. Please note: If you are a temporary worker or internal employee working for RB Global, you do not qualify for this bonus. The Senior Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They utilize a heavy mechanical aptitude to complete repairs and maintenance on items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.
Responsibilities
May act as a lead or coordinate assigned activities. Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory. Performs joint physical inventories at government locations. Uses systems to track and process inventory. Drives/operates heavy and light equipment. Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary. Performs maintenance and heavy repairs on equipment. Merchandises and inspects items for sale. Boosts equipment. Performs complex demilitarization and deidentification. Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment. Assists in coordinating logistics. Interacts with customers. Travels to other locations as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Good customer service to both internal and external customers. High school diploma or GED required. Travel up to 80% may be required. Lift 80 pounds regularly.
