Overview
Speech Language Pathologist in Acute Care for a travel assignment in Hilltop, West Virginia. Start date 11/30/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,441–$2,579 per week, guaranteed hours 35 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days (08:00–16:30). Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. This is a travel temporary assignment supported by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations for residents in an acute care–oriented skilled nursing setting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans addressing communication disorders and dysphagia.
- Deliver therapy sessions, document progress, and adjust plans of care based on patient response.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nurses, therapists, physicians) to optimize patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.
- Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, progress, and home exercise programs; ensure safety and infection-control standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation in charting systems and comply with facility policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in West Virginia (or eligible for WV licensure per state requirements)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Relevant clinical experience in speech-language pathology; familiarity with SNF and acute care settings is preferred
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility environment and participate in a travel assignment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an interprofessional team
