Role Overview: The Center Medical Specialist performs physical examinations, assesses donor suitability, and manages donor health and safety at plasma donation centers. Conduct medical assessments, review health history, and ensure donor eligibility Build rapport with donors to enhance satisfaction and ensure confidentiality Educate donors on health, potential risks, and test results Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events Assist in employee training and administer vaccination programs Qualifications & Skills: Current state certification/license as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Vocation Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT; CPR certification required. Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and light lifting Excellent communication, coordination, and sensory skills (vision, hearing) Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and adapt to changing demands Exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious organisms; required use of personal protective equipment Key Responsibilities: Conduct examinations, evaluate health history, manage adverse events, educate donors, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
