Becht is looking for mid-career Civil Structural Engineer who wants to take the next step in their technical career. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil or Structural Engineering or closely related discipline
• 5+ years' civil and structural experience in the refining, petrochemical or power generation industries with:
  • Foundation and structural design experience
  • Knowledge of plant layout and operations
  • Foundation / reinforced concrete design
  • Experience working with refinery/plant equipment (tanks, plate structures, boilers, stacks, tabletop structures, fired heater incasing, etc.)

What Makes you stand out as a Candidate:

• Professional and/or Structural Engineering License
• Experience with the application of industry codes and standards such as ASCE 7, AISC, ACI
• Experience with field troubleshooting, repairs and system walk-downs and the ability to travel to customer sites.
• Experience with turnaround support, planning & execution.
• Experience with the commercial software AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD.Pro, Risa, or SAP2000.
• Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and mechanics.
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

This opportunity is for the Mechanical Division within Becht, consisting of more than 40 people. This position is remote, with the need to travel up to 30%.
