Working fully remote, the P&C Actuarial Assistant will execute projects supporting reserving insurance business by utilizing actuarial and statistical standards, while collaborating with analytics management and business partners to apply appropriate methodologies and modeling techniques of low to moderate complexity. Key responsibilities Leverages understanding of the insurance business and regulatory environments to inform business strategies and decisions Reviews and ensures the quality of data used for actuarial and statistical services across multiple tools and applications Manages and contributes to projects of moderate complexity using accepted project management standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Two or more years of experience in actuarial or related roles (preferred) Familiarity with traditional actuarial, statistical, and predictive modeling techniques Ability to communicate analysis results effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences Experience with project management standards and practices
