Employment Type & Compensation Full‑time: 3 twelve‑hour shifts per week (8:00AM–8:00PM) with no call requirements. Compensation for NP/PA: $152,464 – $169,405 based on experience, with productivity and quality bonuses based on wRVUs. Compensation for MD/DO: $263,274 – $292,527 based on experience, with productivity and quality bonuses based on wRVUs. Additional financial incentives: sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance. Practice Details Two exam spaces per provider, one procedure room, one‑on‑one medical assistant, and RN Patient volume: ~10–25 per day EMR: Meditech; dictation: Dragon; AI tools: DAX CoPilot Procedures: laceration repair, suturing, splinting, I&D, fishhook removal, medication refills, and bridging care Collaboration with co‑located Primary Care teams for continuity of care Key Responsibilities and Functions Provide comprehensive primary care: diagnosis, treatment, minor procedures, coordination of care, referral, and preventative care. Participate fully in shared local urgent/emergent care on‑call rotation. Maintain accurate and timely documentation per SEARHC policy. Deliver optimal patient experience using strong listening and communication skills. Build long‑term patient relationships and consult SEARHC physicians as needed. Use available specialists (AristaMD, ANMC providers, etc.) as appropriate. Provide services at SEARHC network facilities and other locations per agreements with the Indian Health Service. Actively participate in quality initiatives, meetings, and committee functions. Engage in after‑hours emergency call coverage as required. Employ principles of patient care standards, EMTALA, HIPAA, risk management, medical ethics, and malpractice prevention. Demonstrate effective communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, and problem‑solving skills. Efficiently utilize EMR systems and related technology. Qualifications Minimum two years of postgraduate clinical urgent‑care experience (or equivalent). Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or MD/DO. Active Alaska medical license (or ability to obtain). BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred. Eligibility for SEARHC medical staff privileges.
