A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE: Providing support for fleet safety policies, procedures, and guidelines Ensuring fleet compliance with LJA standards and external requirements Conducting HSE fleet driver and drug & alcohol database audits Assisting with maintaining safe driver training programs Scheduling and follow‑up on onboarding processes including assigning HSE drug & alcohol tests and running motor vehicle reports Maintaining compliance of the LJA driver authorization process, including drug & alcohol screening and MVR reports Maintaining database of all authorized company drivers Assisting with insurance claims related to fleet incidents Any other duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree – Occupational Safety and Health or Equivalent Experience HSE certification (preferred) REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1+ years HSE experience 1+ years Fleet Safety Must be able to work independently and also as part of small multidisciplinary teams Excellent organization skills, time management skills, and ability to multi‑task and prioritize work Must communicate effectively and be proactive in support of problems and solutions Must have working knowledge of MS Office IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE: Understanding and comprehension of applicable state and federal DOT regulations that impact our business 1+ year DOT Compliance Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.For further information, please review the Know Your Rights notice from the Department of Labor. #J-18808-Ljbffr
