A healthcare organization is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a permanent, full-time role. Position Overview

* Permanent, full-time role
* Diagnostic radiology position
* Utilizes PACS and RIS imaging systems
* Cross-training opportunities available in additional imaging modalities
* Reports directly to the Radiology Director

Compensation & Incentives

* Hourly range: $30 $46 (based on experience)
* $25,000 sign-on bonus

Key Responsibilities

* Perform radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians and radiologists
* Maintain electronic health records and utilize PACS and RIS systems
* Evaluate image quality and determine when repeat imaging is necessary
* Schedule exams and maintain accurate patient documentation
* Communicate patient results to physicians as appropriate
* Position patients and equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures
* Apply radiation safety and protection standards at all times
* Start IVs or learn IV insertion as required
* Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment
* Maintain imaging equipment and report repair needs promptly
* Disinfect imaging rooms and maintain cleanliness of exam areas
* Participate in department meetings and continuing education activities
* Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
* Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage as required

Requirements

* Associate or Bachelors Degree in Radiologic Technology
* ARRT Certification (Required)
* Nebraska Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
* BLS Certification (Required)
* Demonstrated experience performing CT scans
* Ability to return to the facility within 30 minutes during on-call periods
* Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging best practices
