Our team succeeds through diversity of thought, experiences, skills, and backgrounds.About the RoleEach day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as Quality Assurance Analyst in Information Technology, you will:Maintain full knowledge of the Policy system and understand its features and functionalityCollaborate with stakeholders to elicit and develop clear requirements and documentationReview product requirements and designs for quality and testing needsDefine scope, objectives, and deliverables of the test effortIdentify opportunities to increase usage of automated testingCreate and maintain test cases and test plansParticipate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression and performance testingWork with development teams to uncover functional and/or performance issuesProvide resource planning, management, and resolution of issues that impede the test effortEvaluate performance of new releases to ensure consistent qualityAnalyze and monitor data to identify potential areas for concernOrganize work schedule to achieve timely processing of all responsibilitiesIdentify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and testing timelinesPerform other duties as assigned by the department managerAbout YouDetail-orientedThrives in a fast-paced environmentCreative, driven, and motivated problem solverStrong analytical skillsAbility to communicate complex concepts and procedures to othersAbility to form strong relationships and work collaborativelyPropensity to learn new techniques and testing methodologiesFlexibility to shift between tasks when requiredRequiredBachelor's degree or equivalent experience3+ years as a quality assurance analyst, with a blend of manual and automation testing.Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.PreferredFamiliarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).2+ years ' experience within the insurance or financial services industryPrevious experience in a Business Analyst roleSQL query writingExposure to performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).Physical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift 15 pounds at timesMay be required to work on-call, evenings, or weekendsAbout UsWe are direct, results-driven, and dedicated to the success of our business and each otherWe are a diverse group of thinkers and doersWe offer many opportunities to grow in your professional skills and careerWe fight homelessness by directing 5% of our earnings from each policy we sell to organizations that help those in need.
