Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a dynamic surgical center located in State College, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures, including specialized pain management and eye laser interventions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, care planning, intervention, and evaluation across the pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) phases. This includes ensuring patient safety, advocating for patient needs, and collaborating effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

This position requires a commitment to accurate documentation, patient and family education, and efficient resource utilization within a fast-paced surgical environment. The role may also include responsibilities as a float nurse, supporting various areas of the surgical center to maintain optimal patient flow.
