Employee Separation Policy: Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR : EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

• Avg. # of scans/day: 15
• Types of Patients: General, OB/GYN, and Vascular.
• Experience in: abdomen, small parts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB (non high-risk) for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans, transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging, upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, Aorta duplex, Carotid arterial doppler, and hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams.
• Experience in assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures is preferred, but not required.

• minimum of 24 months experience in ULT/Sonographer capacity [required]
• will accept 1st time travelers as long as they have 2 years of ULT experience

• experience in vascular [required]
• EPIC emr experience [required]
• ARDMS ( AB ) [required]
• ARDMS ( RVT ) [highly preferred]
• ARDMS (OB/GYN) [highly preferred]

Abdomen/RUQ with liver vessel evaluation

Kidneys & Bladder

Pelvis (transabdominal and transvaginal)

1st Trimester OB (transabdominal and transvaginal)

Testicle/Scrotum evaluation

DVT/venous evaluation of both arms and legs

ABIs

Thyroids

Aortas

Carotids

Limited 2nd/3rd Trimester OBs (BPP, Measurements, and fluid checks)

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Sonographer and/or Vascular experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Sonographer and/or Vascular) [required]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• Driver s License [document] [required]
• ARDMS/American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography [document] [required]
• AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS; basic life support [required]
