Your Opportunity As a Software Development Engineer, you will play an integral role within Client’s in-house agency Creative Center (C2), in helping to contribute and execute on our marketing and business partners’ vision. The target candidate helps to ensure the best quality for our consumers, collaborate on the strategic vision and path for email marketing to support the overall business, and develop a best-in-class customer experience. The ideal individual has a strong foundation in front-end development with an emphasis on email development using HTML, CSS, and email best practices. The ideal candidate would be able to work with systems such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver optimized experiences based on data, best practices, and apply Client standards. You are a good communicator who works well across departments including marketing, creative, and other engineering teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Strong foundational understanding of email development concepts and technologies Ensure timely delivery of project deliverables Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility Familiarity of various email systems and being able to develop solutions accordingly Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content, and ability to troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues Execute email campaigns with a heavy emphasis on customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution Proactively work with teammates to improve processes and work methods for greater efficiency Perform coding tasks as required Collaborating with colleagues from across Client in different support organizations and business groups to resolve issues, and develop technical solutions for best-in-class implementation Contribute to the continued modernization and evolution of the brand

Proficient in all aspects of email marketing and systems, including template configuration and management, dynamic content, queries for data extensions, and content builder Working experience of JavaScript and AMPscript is a huge plus. Working knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Salesforce development skills gained through hands on (design, development) experience and understanding of Salesforce platform features. Proficient experience of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (email) applications within the platform The following skills and experience are a plus and will set you apart Prior experience in a financial industry Exposure to campaign analytical tools (such as interaction & campaign studio) Familiarity with implementation of Einstein Familiarity with SFDC to SFMC Cloud connectors Experience with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Zephyr Tests).
