Job Opportunity: Reproductive Endocrinologist
The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences is looking for a board-eligible or certified reproductive endocrinologist. This role requires expertise in assisted reproduction and reproductive endocrinology. The successful candidate will become part of our active clinical program in REI/ART, primarily focusing on clinical responsibilities while also having the chance to engage in research activities. Strong clinical knowledge and technical proficiency are essential.
Key Responsibilities- Join a team of 7 physicians and 6 advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Allocate approximately 80% of time to clinical duties and 20% to teaching and research.
- Share on-call duties evenly among providers.
- Occasionally work weekends for patients requiring urgent testing and procedures.
- Explore research opportunities through the University of Pittsburgh, if desired.
- Demonstrate excellence in clinical care, education, and research.
- Academic rank will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and accomplishments.
- Participate in a comprehensive fellowship program.
- MD or equivalent degree with eligibility for an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.
- Board eligibility or certification in reproductive endocrinology.
- Strong clinical and technical skills in assisted reproduction.
- Collaborative environment with a focus on patient care and education.
- Engagement in a robust fellowship program aimed at training future specialists.
- Sign-on or relocation bonus available.
- 20 days of paid time off (PTO) annually (equivalent to 4 weeks).
- 10 days of continuing medical education (CME) allowance.
- Faculty appointment at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine based on experience.

- Additional centers within the division include the Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Center and services for long-term care after gonadotoxic therapy.
- All clinical programs serve as platforms for research and education, with a commitment to training the next generation of REI specialists.
- Providers also collaborate with the Center for Reproduction & Transplantation, focusing on fertility preservation and related research.
