Following are the essential functions of the job.***Job Responsibilities include:*** Examining and treating patients* Taking patients’ medical histories* Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays* Making diagnoses and prescribing medications* Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting* Recording progress notes for follow-up patients* Educating and counseling patients* Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients* Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care* Supervising GoHealth PA/NPs remotely when cases are presented to you for supervision* Act as a Collaborating Physician for up to four PA/NPs in the credentialing process, including signoff of the PA/NPs delineation of privileges (DOP)* Each provider will work an anticipated eight (8) or twelve (12) hours per shift* All other duties as assigned*Note: this job description is not inclusive of all the duties of the position.
