Nurse Practitioner (NP)Contract Length: 6 months Location: Austin, TX 78749Primary ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.Provide evidence-based primary and family care.Perform health assessments and routine physical examinations.Order and interpret diagnostic tests.Develop and manage treatment plans.Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and chronic disease management.Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.Complete administrative duties, including:Clinic opening/closingInventory managementPatient follow-upInsurance verificationPayment collectionMaintaining a clean clinical environmentPreferred SkillsChronic disease management.Quality metrics/value-based care experience.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to multitask and work independently.Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs).Willingness to obtain additional state licenses.DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
