Requirements

• 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
• Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Vacancy description

Drive for HMD Trucking as an experienced OTR CDL-A dry van operator out of Hammond, IN. You’ll run coast-to-coast freight, manage cargo integrity, and collaborate with dispatch to maintain on-time service.

Key responsibilities:

• Safely operate dry van equipment on long-haul runs, perform inspections, and keep driving and vehicle records in good order.
• Follow DOT regulations, handle delivery paperwork, and communicate delays or mechanical concerns.
