Interventional Radiology Technologist

Description: This position requires no holiday required time off. Candidates must have a valid state license in hand at the time of submission. Shifts are 4x10s with a rotating week day off. Call is required, typically once a week, from the end of the shift to 07:00 the next morning. Weekend call is also required for 24 hours from Friday end of shift to Monday morning. Weekend call rotations typically occur every 4-6 weeks, as needed to fill in for the full-time team. Ideal candidates should have experience in multiple areas of interventional radiology procedures. Experience in the following procedures is essential: adrenal angiography, angioplasty, aortography, chemoembolization, embolization, and more. Candidates must be capable of handling both technical and procedural responsibilities in a sterile environment. The role includes room circulation, equipment setup, and maintenance of sterile fields. Interdisciplinary support will be part of the care provided to patients in various age groups, including adults and geriatrics. Work alongside a team that includes two techs and one nurse for on-call duties. The candidate should be willing to adjust to varying demands of the unit, including participating in special procedures.
