JOB TITLE: CNC Shop Assistant
PAY RANGE : $18-22/hr  | SHIFT: 1 st 7 AM – 3:30 PM

QUICK SUMMARY
Most machinists don't start by running million-dollar CNC machines.  They start by learning the fundamentals.  If sitting behind a desk all day sounds miserable, keep reading.

This role gives you the opportunity to work in a real machine shop environment while learning manufacturing processes, shop tools, part finishing, quality expectations, and production workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Grind, sand, and finish precision machined components
Remove burrs, sharp edges, tabs, and slag from metal parts
Learn to use shop tools including orbital sanders, grinders, and hand tools
Support CNC machining and production teams as needed

REQUIREMENTS : (Preferred too)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
