Growing together.The Medical Scribe will work on-site in our Neuro Clinic Monday through Friday under the direction of the Operations Manager and support the providers. You will transcribe and input the documentation of patient visit and information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). As a medical scribe, you are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the transcription you are doing for the providers.Address: 701 White Pond Dr Akron, OHPrimary Responsibilities:Performs provider documentation of patient information as spoken by a provider in a legible and clear manner, following all established local, state and federal guidelines for documentation and billingDemonstrates skill in documenting and maintaining patient care records in a complete and thorough mannerEnsures that all documentation follows scribe policies and proceduresFollows established medical record requirementsCompletes all documentation real time and within the same date of serviceAssigns dictation to provider when chart is complete and ready for review and sign offClarifies and corrects any documentation under the direction of the providerOther responsibilities as directed by the Operations ManagerRequired Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in a Medical Office settingExperience with medical terminologyExperience with computerized information systems (EMR) used in business and clinical management settingsPreferred Qualifications:Completed medical training specific to medical terminology, anatomy and physiology2+ years clinical experience in related field as a scribeExperience documenting patient information into an electronic medical record, EMR/EHRPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment.
