Senior BI Analyst

About the Role Senior BI Analyst , Home Based. The QA Insights Team focuses on providing key data insights to our colleagues in QA. You will be a leading member of the team delivering accurate and timely data‑driven analysis to stakeholders, allowing them to make informed decisions for the success of QA and our Learners. You will lead a team of BI Analysts in their delivery, supporting development and building up skill sets to deliver against our business roadmaps. Key Responsibilities Interpret and visualise data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports. Develop the capability of the individuals within the Analysis team, sharing knowledge and technical expertise to improve data analysis at departmental level. Line manage Junior and BI Analysts, helping grow their experience and enhance their future potential for their career aspirations. Leverage the team to deliver fast‑paced and effective responses to ad hoc analysis requests and queries. Manage BI Roadmap delivery ensuring resource availability and appropriate effort planning is in place prior to sprints. Act as a bridge between the business functions and IT ensuring clarity of requirements for our IT team. Collaborate with IT to develop and improve underlying data. Contribute to the development of our data repository, translating business use and processes into technical delivery while continuing our philosophy of single source reporting. Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Work with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to help prioritise business information needs. Locate, define, implement new process improvement opportunities. Your Experience Experience in QA focusing on winning in the digital revolution and knowledge of IT is needed. Has worked extensively with BI tools in medium to large enterprise organisations with 5+ Years’ experience in a Data Analytic role. Experience in a change environment is essential. Your role will see you being an advocate for change. Your capability in this will allow you to effectively work with stakeholders progressing change. Data Analysis Skills Experience in producing trend/pattern analysis to track data journeys. Visualisation Our software of choice is Power BI, but experience in similar software (Tableau, Looker, Qlik) is a plus. DAX. DevOps / JIRA.
