Process and Production Improvement Specialist

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Production & Process Improvement Specialist in the Alabaster, Alabama area.  This is a direct-hire position and the salary range is about $65,000-75,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Improve manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement across the plant
• Troubleshoot production challenges
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Perform reporting on material changes, shortages, schedule modifications, and completion dates
• Develop work instructions, reduce waste, and create cycle time improvements
• Work with engineering and production management
• Assist in transitioning new designs into production

Required Education and experience:

• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of manufacturing processes
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement
• Technical Degree in Engineering Technology or related field is preferred
