Position: Program Specialist – Insurance Specialist Pay: $19/hour + Weekly pay +Full Benefits and Paid Training! Schedule: Must be able to work an 8hr. shift between 8:00 AM–8:00 PM EST Start Date: October 5 Equipment Provided: Laptop, keyboard, two monitors, mouse, and headphones Drug Screening: Not required What You'll Do As a Program Specialist, you’ll serve as an important resource for patients and healthcare providers by helping them navigate insurance coverage and access available therapies. Your responsibilities will include: Handle inbound and outbound calls related to insurance verification and patient benefits. Verify insurance coverage, deductibles, out-of-pocket costs, and patient eligibility. Determine whether prescribed therapies qualify for available benefit or financial assistance programs. Assist patients with navigating websites, enrollment processes, and available insurance options. Process patient applications and determine eligibility according to program guidelines. Document insurance verification results and patient interactions accurately. Follow up with patients and healthcare providers as needed. Identify barriers preventing patients from accessing prescribed therapies and take ownership of resolving those issues. This position requires a strong medical insurance background.
