In this role, you will help ensure our client facilities remain functional, safe, and in excellent condition. From performing routine inspections and basic repairs to coordinating with contractors and ensuring safety compliance, your work will directly support our mission to maintain top-tier environments.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipmentIdentify potential maintenance or safety issues before they become problemsPerform scheduled maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipmentAddress minor issues proactively to avoid costly repairsHandle basic fixes such as repairing locks, patching walls, and replacing light fixturesRepair machines, structures, and other facility components as neededWork with outside contractors for specialized repairs or upgradesEnsure all external work meets safety and quality standardsIdentify and resolve mechanical issues efficientlyRespond quickly to equipment malfunctions and emergenciesInstall new appliances, equipment, or systems when requiredEnsure proper setup and safety complianceFollow local/state building codes and company safety protocolsMonitor safety systems (e.g., alarms, sprinklers) and report inefficienciesPartner with facilities managers and fellow maintenance staffSupport renovation and upgrade projects when neededQualificationsProven experience in facility maintenance or a similar roleStrong knowledge of basic handyman repairsSkilled in using hand tools and electrical equipmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsPhysically fit with strong manual dexterityHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredApprenticeship or technical training is a plusBenefitsPaid time offHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife InsuranceFCS Facility Services is an equal employment opportunity employer dedicated to promoting an inclusive, diverse, and innovative environment for our employees.
