Exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled nursing professional interested in supporting a student in a school district setting near Salem, NH. This contract position is ideal for an LPN with a passion for working one-on-one with students and making a difference each day.

You’ll assist a student with unique needs—mobility challenges and who communicates via AAC device—ensuring safe transport to and from school. Your mornings start around 7:25 a.m., accompanying the student on the bus and returning by approximately 9:30 a.m. An afternoon pickup is required at 1:00 p.m. No duties are required during the school day, allowing flexibility in your schedule. The role covers both the Extended School Year (July 6–August 9, Monday–Thursday) and the regular 2026-2027 school year. Anticipate about 15–20 hours per week, averaging 3–4 hours daily.

What you bring:

• Active LPN, LVN, or RN license in New Hampshire
• Current experience in school, pediatric, or transport nursing strongly preferred
• Comfortable working 1:1 with students with mobility support and non-verbal communication needs
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student safety and well-being
• Reliable transportation and punctuality for pick-up and drop-off
• Ability to pass all school onboarding requirements, including fingerprint background clearance

Key responsibilities:

• Ride the bus with the assigned student during morning and afternoon transport
• Provide monitoring and care during transit, addressing medical needs as appropriate
• Communicate effectively with school staff and caregivers
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow district protocols
