Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist - $2,246 per week

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist for a travel job in Washington, District of Columbia. Overview Travel Outpatient Physical Therapist. Duties include helping patients recover from injuries and managing chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active DC Physical Therapy license is required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Resume submission required for consideration. Preferred: prior experience working in collaborative outpatient clinic environments with multidisciplinary teams. Assignment Details Facility Type: Outpatient clinic located in downtown Washington, DC. Shift Name: Days. Schedule and Hours: Full-time, 5 days a week. Monday to Thursday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Fridays either 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Clinic Expectations: Collaborative team of approximately 10 PTs and 2 OTs. Typical patient age range 25–65. Appointment lengths typically 30 minutes with 1-hour evaluations and 1:1 care. Location Highlights Washington, DC offers a mix of urban amenities and cultural landmarks within short commutes. The National Mall and Smithsonian museums are within a 10–20 minute drive or accessible by multiple Metro lines, providing numerous cultural and educational attractions. The Georgetown waterfront and the Potomac River are 10–15 minutes from downtown and provide waterfront dining, walking trails, and outdoor recreation. Rock Creek Park lies about 10 minutes from central DC and offers hiking, biking, and nature trails for an active lifestyle. The city features extensive public transit options including Metro and bus networks with easy access to Reagan National Airport within a 15–20 minute drive. DC supports an urban, fast-paced lifestyle with diverse dining, performing arts venues such as the Kennedy Center, and numerous professional and social districts across the city.
