RN Progressive Care Registered Nurse

As a RN Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will influence patient care by collaborating with direct managers, joining hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. Your role will shape decisions that elevate patient outcomes and shape the future of nursing. Responsibilities Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider. Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response. Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 90 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. NIH Stroke Scale certification obtained within 60 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse (RN) license. Registered Nurse Diploma. No travel required. No experience required. 0 years of experience.
