Hill Country Barbecue Market is seeing line cooks to join our staff! Hill Country is a tribute to the traditional Central Texas barbecue experience, Southern Hospitality and the artistry of Downtown Austin. We serve freshly smoked meats every single day, along with our rotating menu of seasonal sides, specials, and desserts!
We are looking for experienced line cooks to join our kitchen team. At least 1 year of kitchen experience is required, and an active food handlers license is preferred. Candidates must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, carry items up and down stairs, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include:- Setup and clean-up of the kitchen
- Some prep work
- Executing recipes to the Chef’s specifications
- Maintaining an impeccably clean work station
- Take direction from Head Chef and Sous Chefs Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available. Open availability is preferred. Schedule may include daytime and nighttime shifts. To apply, please respond to this listing with your resume and a short blurb about yourself.
