This role requires a team player with excellent multitasking skills, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to superior customer service.Key Responsibilities:Facilitate patient flow and ensure efficiency in the officeTriage and room patients, recording vitals in the EMRManage lab specimens and diagnostic test ordersPrepare, clean, and stock examination roomsReturn patient calls, answer clinical questions, and provide timely communicationCoordinate medication delivery, injection administration, and prior authorizationsAssist with securing referrals and coordinating with pharmaceutical representativesPerform additional administrative and clinical tasks as neededQualifications:Medical Assisting certification (required)Prior medical assisting experience (preferred), especially in primary careProficient in computer and EMR systems (experience with EMDs is a plus)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProfessional, friendly, and outgoing personalityExcellent organizational skills with keen attention to detailStrong work ethic and ability to work independentlySchedule:4 ½ days per week8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (half-day schedule every week, out by 12 or 1 p.m.)Every five weeks, work four 10-hour days with Friday offBenefits:Medical, dental, and vision insurance (70% paid by employer)Life insurance, retirement plan, flexible spending, and daycare spending accountsPaid time offCompensation:$17 to $20 per hour, based on experienceIf you're ready to be part of a supportive and patient-focused team, apply today and take the next step in your healthcare career!
