Overview Role Description: Sales & Estimating Professional role is intended for a candidate with approximately 10 years of industry experience. Looking for an experienced, driven, detail-oriented Sales & Estimating professional to join our team. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role at the intersection of business development, technical estimating, and customer relationship management. You will own the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities and preparing competitive proposals to ensuring seamless project handoffs and ongoing customer engagement. This full-time, on-site role is based in Anaheim, CA. What You Will Do Sales & Business Development Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across construction, retrofit, repair, underground pipeline, and ITM services. Build and maintain trusted relationships with general contractors, property managers, facility managers, owners, and existing clients. Respond to bid invitations, RFQs, and customer inquiries with speed, professionalism, and accuracy. Drive customer retention through consistent follow-through, clear communication, and proactive attention to service needs. Develop and expand a pipeline of qualified leads that support company growth targets and market penetration. Estimating & Proposal Development Prepare accurate, competitive estimates and proposals for new construction, retrofit installations, service upgrades, and repair work. Review drawings, specifications, inspection reports, and project documents to define scope, materials, labor, and scheduling requirements. Partner with the estimating team to maintain pricing consistency, bid accuracy, and on-time proposal delivery. Manage change orders, back charges, pricing revisions, and scope adjustments with precision and documentation discipline. Maintain organized, audit-ready records of proposals, bid documents, follow-up communications, and customer files. ITM & Customer Service Prepare quotes for new and existing Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance accounts with a service-first mindset. Review inspection reports to identify repair needs, deficiencies, upgrade opportunities, and additional revenue potential. Coordinate with the ITM Coordinator and operations team to ensure service work is accurately scoped, priced, and scheduled. Communicate proactively with customers on pricing, timelines, approvals, and next steps—always with clarity and professionalism. Operations Collaboration Work closely with the COO, project managers, field supervisors, and estimating staff to ensure smooth project transitions from proposal to execution. Provide timely internal updates on proposal status, customer requirements, scope changes, and open action items. Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction processes. Support quality assurance by verifying that scopes of work align with both customer expectations and company standards. Brand & Market Presence Represent our company with professionalism and credibility in every customer interaction, written proposal, and field visit. Support brand consistency across sales materials, customer-facing communications, and digital channels. Contribute to website, social media, and marketing initiatives that generate leads and reinforce our market position. What You Bring Demonstrated experience in sales, estimating, construction, fire protection, or a related technical trade — fire sprinkler and underground pipeline background strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and inspection reports to develop accurate scopes of work. Sharp written and verbal communication skills; you know how to build trust in a boardroom, a job site, and an inbox. Highly organized with the discipline to manage concurrent bids, quotes, follow-ups, and deadlines without dropping the ball. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, estimating platforms, bid management tools, and CRM systems.
