Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including a detailed review of medical histories, performing standardized assessments, and formulating appropriate treatment plans based on the evaluations.
• Effectively communicate evaluation findings and treatment objectives to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting processes to enhance commitment and engagement in their recovery.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols with a focus on evidence-based practices that address the findings from patient evaluations, ensuring that treatments are tailored to fit the physical and emotional health needs of the patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach for optimal patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary in response to changes in patient conditions, documenting all findings in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
• Plan and coordinate discharge processes and follow-up care, providing clear instructions to patients for ongoing rehabilitation post-discharge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Tashiro Therapeutic Care is diverse, encompassing individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain, and patients rehabilitating from injuries. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program;
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia;
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills;
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Experience working in an outpatient setting;
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation standards required in physical therapy;
• Specialized training in manual therapy techniques or sports rehabilitation;
• A background in designing patient-centered treatment programs.

Compensation and Benefits

The Physical Therapist position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
