To learn more about Team OC please visit are currently searching for a **Patient Services Specialist** to join our team at our **OrthoCarolina Fort Mill** office location.The **Patient Services Specialist** greets patients, prepares forms, collects, verifies and enters patient information into EPIC necessary for the timely and accurate processing of patient claims.**Essential Functions:*** Prepares paperwork necessary for the patient visit.* Answers incoming phone calls and directs calls, makes appointments, performs Cashier duties as directed including posting of charges,* Collection of co-payments/co-insurance and balances due.* Follows the process for release of medical information and FMLA/disability forms completion as requested.**Skills and Abilities:*** Excellent customer service skills* Working knowledge of insurance* Epic/EMR background a plus* Medical terminology**Qualifications:*** High school graduate and/or associate or bachelor's degree* Prefer minimum of one year experience in medical clinic setting.
