Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a 12-week travel assignment, requiring an active PT license and at least 6 months of recent experience.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic setting with a team of 3 full-time PTs, 1 PTA, and 3 PRN PTs
• Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 7am-7pm, with flexible scheduling within an 8am-5pm shift
• May be required to float to Inpatient Rehab, Acute, or Outpatient Rehab areas
• Uses Meditech Magic and ReDoc/NetHealth EMR systems
• Equipment includes Hoyer Lift, treadmill, elliptical, and Sci-Fit machines
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum 6 months of recent experience within the last 6 months in the specialty
• Outpatient clinic experience preferred
• Neurological patient experience preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Professional reference requirements vary by state, with most states requiring one reference

• Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient setting
• Collaborates closely with speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physicians as part of a team-oriented environment
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates accepted
• Open to first-time travelers
