Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Load, transport, unload, and furnish crew with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary Grade checking Help place and rake concrete Set and remove pavement, barrier, curb, and sidewalk forms Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman Safely handle electric and gas-powered hand tools, such as circular saws, drills, and cut-off saws. Use tape measure, folding rule, and 4ft level. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Have reliable personal transportation Be willing to work on projects up to 3.5 hours from home For projects 1.5 hours +, compensation for travel expenses are available Kokosing is a drug-free workplace Experience 1+ year(s) of experience in associated Heavy Highway Laborer work preferred, but not required Experience in the concrete industry is a strong plus Current STP, OSHA 10 Hour, or OSHA 30 Hour Kokosing will facilitate STP and OHSA training for those lacking the certifications Kokosing is an equal employment opportunity/affirmative action federal and state contractor.
