This contract opportunity near Eugene, OR focuses on providing targeted support as a Resource Room Teacher, serving a caseload of approximately 25 students. What we’re seeking:
- Verified certification in Special Education teaching.
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, ideally with elementary-aged students.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Commitment to collaborative problem-solving with colleagues and families.
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability in dynamic educational settings.
Your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small-group instruction in a dedicated Resource Room environment.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and provide accommodations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and regularly monitor student progress towards IEP goals.
- Communicate effectively with families and colleagues to ensure each student’s success.
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages student growth and engagement.
