CS2507 - BCS Warehouse Multi-Skilled; 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)Starting Pay Rate: $19.10 2nd Shift Differential: $1.50Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt Employment Type: Full TimeDescription: At Bama, the Shipping and Receiving Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist is expected to understand and perform a minimum of 2 warehouse job functions and tasks. This position would be directly responsible for ensuring a high-quality safe product; while minimizing damage, meeting customer expectations, and ensuring a safe work environment and practices. The Multi-skilled Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for working in multiple positions which could be at any Bama facility.Essential Job Functions/Job Responsibilities: Please see People Systems or online job posting for complete Job DescriptionDuties:Understand Shipping / Receiving and warehouse processes and possess the ability to drive continuous improvement.Ensure all paperwork is filled out and processed correctly for area of responsibility.Assist in Troubleshooting failures and identify corrective actions.Must actively participate in other plant initiatives (i.e., safety programs, quality audits, productivity) with the responsibility for self and others.Understand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly.Be responsible for GMP's of self and others in work area.Understand Manufacturing guidelines for food safety, food security, and sanitation.Responsible for daily housekeeping of the warehouseMinimum Qualifications:Must be able to complete the certification process in a minimum of 2 warehouse functions such as: Bulk receiving, Line Support (Line Driver and Freezer Input), Shipping/Receiving, Inventory clerk, & Shuttle DriverMust participate in accident investigation and completion of follow-up reporting.Understanding of the MER processUnderstand and follows the COA processUnderstand quality standards, follow those standards and knowing what to do and who to contact when some process is not functioning correctly.Understand Manufacturing guidelines for food safety, food security and sanitation.Required Qualifications:Understand warehouse guidelines for food safety and sanitation.Computer skills in AS400, Microsoft Word, Power point, Excel, and Email.Experience with sit down and stand-up forklift operation.Experience with Inventory control process.Demonstrated problem solving ability.Must have proven safety record in past work history.Bama is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
