Job Description

The SBS Fulfillment Specialist 1 is responsible for quickly and safely handling products in a warehouse environment. Duties include inventory fulfillment, inquiry fulfillment, custom kit assembly, and receiving inventory in compliance with established procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely process all assigned duties.
• Record information clearly and accurately in documents and software applications.
• Regularly lift and carry items weighing 35–40 pounds and occasionally up to 51 pounds, including at shoulder height.
• Operate small machines such as pallet jacks, scales, folders, inserters, cutters, and binders.
• Use tools including box cutters, tape guns, dispensers, and staplers.
• Load, unload, push, and pull carts or pallets weighing up to 1,500 pounds using a pallet jack.
• Stuff and seal envelopes, build boxes, collate and insert materials, and prepare shipments.
• Identify potential problems and errors and take appropriate action to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Communicate suggestions to improve quality and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Physical strength and stamina to move materials and objects safely.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail when reading orders and selecting items.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment.
• Positive and respectful attitude.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and carry 35–40 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally lift items up to 51 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull carts or pallets up to 1,500 pounds using a pallet jack.
• Ability to work while standing and walking for extended periods.

Safety Requirement

Protective footwear is required and must meet  ASTM F2413-11standards for protective safety toe footwear and have a slip-resistant rating designated as “Better” or “Best.”
