Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Tele

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Med/Surg Tele Unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, focusing on effective communication and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities Manage and maintain patient care, including NG tube management, Foley catheter placement, and chest tube maintenance. Ensure accurate patient assessments, documentation, and charting using Cerner EMR. Provide care for patients with common diagnoses such as small bowel obstructions, diabetic complications, pneumonia, and sepsis. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Med/Surg setting. Experience with NG tube placement, Foley catheter management, and chest tube maintenance preferred.
