Pediatric Transplant Hepatologist

Cleveland Clinic Children’s is recruiting a pediatric gastroenterologist with expertise in Pediatric Transplant Hepatology to join the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition. The successful applicant must be board‑certified in both pediatric gastroenterology and pediatric transplant hepatology. The ideal candidate is an early‑ or mid‑career professional seeking long‑term leadership opportunities within our Pediatric Liver Care Center. Preference is given to those with an interest in metabolic liver disease and/or a track record in clinical or translational research. Responsibilities Provide clinical care for pediatric patients with liver disease, including all types of pediatric liver transplantation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatric general surgery, adult liver transplant surgery, metabolic disease specialists, immunology, nutrition, psychology, and social work. Lead or participate in the Pediatric Liver Care Center’s transplant program and related ancillary services (e.g., endoscopy, motility lab, infusion center). Engage in clinical, basic science, and translational research projects focused on liver disease. Perform teaching and educational activities for medical students, residents, and fellows. Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications Board certification in pediatric gastroenterology and pediatric transplant hepatology. Early‑ or mid‑career status with a commitment to leadership. Strong clinical skill set in pediatric liver transplantation. Experience or interest in metabolic liver disease and research. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
