REQUIREMENTS

In this Project Management - Commercial Construction Estimator position, we rely on you to help ensure the operational and budgetary success of our construction projects. Much of your day is spent working with your supervisor and contractors as you oversee our commercial projects from conception to completion. You help resolve construction problems, improve construction methods, and inspect work in progress. You also make sure projects stay on schedule and verify that all project specifications for work are met.

In addition to keeping projects flowing smoothly, you accurately create submittals based on estimate schedules, utilizing updated plans, ASK's, RFI's, Change Orders and AutoCad/TurboCad. Being dedicated to quality and compliance, you review submittals, contract documents and approved drawings and make any changes as needed. You prepare shop drawings, schedules, and submittals based on manufacturers cut sheets. At the end of the day, you are the champion that propels our projects to completion! You make it your mission to ensure every job goes off without a hitch!

• Experience in commercial construction detailing and/or specification
• Estimating experience in commercial construction
• Experience in project management
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural design packages, blueprints, contracts or governmental regulations
• Proficient skills in AutoCAD or TurboCAD
• Responsible for complete door and hardware takeoff's & costing all parts of scopes of work
• Driver's license
• Can read, write, and speak English fluently
