Responsibilities:

"Ideal employee" is someone who knows the relevant industry content and can apply that knowledge to complete the tasks of their assigned job role.

• Execute food preparation, menu planning, and food sanitation activities.
• Ensure adherence to food safety standards and provide customer service.
• Support dining room operations, coordinate meal delivery, and communicate with residents for specialty orders.
• Be willing to take on other duties and assignments within the scope of your knowledge and experience.

Qualifications:
• Experience in Long Term Care Dietary Department is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition & enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable while handle multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
• Required to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently throughout the day; lift and/or move, push/pull minimum of 25 pounds.
