Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician

Tyler, TX 75701 | $20/hr | Schedule: M-F, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Temporary | Start Date: ASAP

BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Tyler, TX. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on maintenance experience who takes pride in providing quality repairs and excellent service to residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems

• Complete apartment service requests and work orders

• Perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance repairs

• Assist with unit turns, including drywall, painting, and minor renovations

• Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections

• Maintain curb appeal and support overall property upkeep

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred

• HVAC troubleshooting and repair experience preferred

• EPA Certification preferred

• Ability to complete work orders independently

• Own basic hand tools; power tools preferred

• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
