Browning Insurance Agency is growing, and we're looking for a competitive, motivated Licensed Insurance Sales Representative who wants the opportunity to build a serious career in insurance sales.

This isn't a position where your earning potential is limited by a flat salary.

We provide a guaranteed base salary, uncapped commission, leads, coaching, technology, benefits, and a proven sales process. You bring the work ethic, consistency, and desire to win.

Successful producers who build a strong pipeline and consistently hit production goals have the opportunity to earn $70,000–$100,000+ annually.

What You'll Do

You'll help individuals and families protect what matters most by identifying their insurance needs and recommending appropriate coverage.

Your day will include:

• Responding quickly to new leads and sales opportunities

• Making consistent outbound calls and follow-up attempts

• Quoting and selling Auto, Home, Renters, and other personal insurance products

• Conducting needs-based insurance conversations rather than simply selling on price

• Cross-selling and bundling appropriate products

• Following a structured sales and follow-up process

• Asking for the sale on every qualified opportunity

• Maintaining an organized sales pipeline and CRM

• Following up with new customers after the sale

• Asking satisfied customers for referrals and Google reviews

• Working closely with our service team to ensure policies are issued accurately

• Writing quality, properly structured business—no shortcuts

Compensation

Expected Total Compensation: $50,000–$100,000+ per year

Compensation consists of a base salary plus uncapped commission based on production.

Our compensation structure rewards producers who consistently increase their production. Higher monthly production can unlock significantly higher commission percentages.

There is no artificial ceiling placed on what a high-performing producer can earn.

What Success Looks Like

We aren't looking for someone who simply waits for the phone to ring.

Our strongest producers are proactive.

They build pipelines, follow up relentlessly, ask for the sale, take coaching seriously, and understand that consistent activity creates consistent income.

Responsibilities

Successful producers should be prepared to:

• Maintain strong daily outbound activity

• Consistently work new and existing leads

• Build and manage a follow-up pipeline

• Target 30+ items per month as a minimum production standard

• Progress toward substantially higher production levels

• Maintain high-quality, properly written business

• Deliver an excellent customer experience

• Take ownership of their results

The more you produce, the more you can earn.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Active North Carolina Property Casualty Insurance License

• Strong communication skills

• Comfortable making outbound sales calls

• Ability to confidently ask for the sale

• Self-motivated and results-oriented

• Coachable and willing to follow a structured sales process

• Strong follow-up and organizational skills

• Professional attitude and appearance

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team

Requirements

Active North Carolina Life Insurance License.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals within the insurance sector.

Strong command of life insurance products, riders, and underwriting guidelines.

High level of proficiency with agency management software and digital application platforms.

Natural ability to listen deeply and explain complex financial concepts in plain, accessible language.

Residency in or around Matthews, NC, with the ability to work from our local office daily.
