Administrator, Mortgage Processing

Job Responsibilities:

• Process residential mortgage loan applications for purchase and refinance transactions.
• Prepare pre-closing Loan Quality Initiative (LQI) requirements, perform credit analysis, and conduct quality control reviews.
• Review title commitments, appraisals, flood certifications, homeowners' insurance policies, condo questionnaires, asset documentation, and credit information.
• Ensure accurate mortgage loan closing and funding.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality and processing deadlines.
• Participate in department events, seminars, and special projects as assigned.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of customer account information.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Mortgage loan processing and mortgage documentation review.
• Understanding of lender and investor guidelines.
• Mortgage loan closing and funding.
• Credit analysis and quality control.
• Knowledge of FNMA and NCUA mortgage lending guidelines.
• Experience with Mortgage LOS applications, Desktop Underwriting, and Episys (preferred).
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe proficiency.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professional customer service and telephone etiquette.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and self-motivated.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet qualifications to obtain NMLS certification.
• Previous banking or Credit Union experience preferred.
• Previous mortgage processing, loan origination, or financial services experience preferred.
• Previous residential mortgage closing and funding experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Mortgage LOS applications, Desktop Underwriting, and Episys preferred.
