We pride ourselves on producing the highest quality baked goods and customer service in the area. As a part of our staff here at Ludlow Central Bakery, you will utilize your customer service skills as you work the front of the bakery, taking custom orders and selling premade goods.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will accurately and efficiently perform both cash and card transactions using our POS system.

• You will perform daily cleaning tasks, which may include but are not limited to, sanitizing common surfaces regularly and washing dishes.

• You will retain knowledge of store products and opening/closing procedures.

• You will accurately answer customer questions both over the phone and in person.

• You will ensure that our customers receive the highest quality of customer service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields (at least one (1) year preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Able to stand and move around the store for long periods of time, and lift up to 25 pounds

Essential Functions/Skills:

• Possess the ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide. May use a calculator).

• Possess Verbal, written, and telephone skills to answer customer questions and take orders.

Training:

• PAID training is provided on the job.
