Apartment Maintenance Technician

Albany, NY
$20–$23 per hour DOE
Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Career Strategies is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team in Albany, NY. If you have apartment maintenance experience and enjoy solving problems while keeping a community running smoothly, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

• Complete maintenance work orders
• Perform apartment make-readies and unit turns
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and basic HVAC systems
• Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs
• Perform basic appliance repairs
• Replace blinds, screens, locks, and other fixtures
• Assist with groundskeeping and property upkeep as needed
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents and property staff

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall, carpentry, and basic HVAC
• Appliance repair experience is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and dependable attendance
