Description

• Dive into individualized speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, fluency, voice therapy, and swallowing techniques.
• Work seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to create holistic care plans.
• Provide vital education to patients and their families, empowering them to contribute to therapy progress at home.
• Occasionally, assist with inpatient evaluations and speech therapy interventions, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the care journey.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation compliant with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Commit to staying updated on advancements in treatment methodologies through professional education opportunities and peer collaboration.

Education

• An accredited Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Required: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first 30 days of employment.
