Quality Technician

Job TitleJob TitleJob DescriptionWill be working on the inspection of the different metal parts. The candidate will use a micrometer, caliper, and comparator. Will be using a CMM machine for inspection. The candidate will need to program CMM long term. (Will be trained) Will take parts from production and run them through the quality process. 80% of the day will be inspection and documentation. 15% of the day will be CMM. 5% will be more general duties such as cleaning work area and filing paperwork.Additional Skills & QualificationsMUST:ITAR CompliantKnow how to use micrometer, caliper.Blueprint reading or strong in math.Understand tolerances and dimensions.Understanding of GD&T using instrumentsExperience with Internal AuditingPLUS HAVE:Bachelors Degree in EngineeringJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
