The Opportunity

A 139-bed Prime Healthcare hospital on the St. Clair River, running over 20,000 emergency visits a year about 53 a day through a 15-bed department with private rooms and dedicated parking. Primary Stroke Center, with cardiac, oncology, orthopaedic, surgical and inpatient rehabilitation services on site. Port Huron is genuine waterfront living at a cost that has nothing to do with Metro Detroit, which is still an easy drive when you want it.

What You'll Own

• A community department of real size 53 visits a day through 15 private rooms.
• Physician and APP coverage on the schedule together.
• Primary Stroke Center pathways , with cardiac and surgical services on site.
• Up to about 14 shifts a month on a 12-hour day and night rotation.

Must-Haves

• MD or DO
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine preferred
• Michigan license, or eligibility in process

• Prior stroke centre experience
• Community ED background

• $345,000 $365,000 annually at full-time volume , independent contractor.

• Licensure is faster than you expect if you're coming from out of state. Michigan participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact, so if you already hold a qualifying license elsewhere, adding this one typically runs one to three weeks rather than months.
