Registered Nurse (RN) - PACUWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PACU and Pre-Op nursing, providing excellent care to patients recovering from anesthesia.Key DetailsStart Date: ASAPContract Length: 13 weeksOrientation: Virtual orientation every Monday, 8 hours, non-billableSchedule: Days, 4x10 hour shifts with varied start times, earliest at 0600Weekend Requirement: Required only when on-callHoliday Requirement: Yes, required in rotation for on-callResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse will be responsible for:Providing high-quality post-operative care to patients in the PACU.Monitoring patients' vital signs and ensuring their comfort throughout recovery.Collaborating with surgical and anesthetic teams to facilitate a smooth recovery process.Assessing and addressing patient needs promptly and effectively.QualificationsTo be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:Experience: Minimum of 1 year of PACU and Pre-Op experience is required; previous travel experience is preferred.License & Certifications: Active Kansas RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.Additional Requirements: Candidates must be nicotine-free.Additional InformationCreds are due one week prior to the start date. Payroll is processed bi-weekly.
