Our award-winning work-life balance is the result of a strong team commitment and industry leading collaboration.Your role as Maintenance Technician II is critical to AL's success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.We have a new bonus structure! All Maintenance Technician team members will receive a stipend of $100 when on-call, on top of overtime. ALSO, maintenance team members are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make ready status and work order completion.Your "Day to Day" at AL as a Maintenance Technician:Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property.Responding to work orders within 24 hoursComplete the "make-ready" process to prepare vacant apartment homes for leasingComplete paperwork in a timely, accurate, and complete fashion so that service requests can be appropriately documented and trackedTracking inventory usedNotifying the Maintenance Supervisor about re-ordering needsQualifying Accomplishments of a Maintenance Technician:Prior experience in multi-family housing as a maintenance technicianHVAC Certified (Requirement)Electrical & plumbing skills / trouble shooting abilityIrrigation knowledgeWhat ALVM Offers You:Market competitive salaryComprehensive insurance coverage to include Medical, Life, Dental, Vision, Long and Short-Term DisabilityThree weeks' paid vacation per yearIndustry competitive bonus structure to include move-ins and renewal poolEducation/Tuition Reimbursement401K Retirement Plan w/ 4% match30% rent discounted apartmentBackground & drug screening are a requirement.
